Date: Tuesday, November 12th, 9:20 PM Location: Mustangs' Home Ice
Matchup Overview:
It’s the fifth face-off in this heated rivalry as Tuck (2-2-0) and the Mustangs (2-2-0) meet again, deadlocked at 2-2 in their all-time series. Their last showdown on October 16th saw Tuck edge out a 5-3 victory, but the Mustangs will be charging back to even the season series. Tuck has the momentum, but the Mustangs have home-ice advantage and the determination to break the tie.
Last Meeting Recap (October 16): In the October clash, Tuck’s offensive stars shone brightly, with Matthew “Slick Stick” Ouellette opening the scoring and Maclean “Machine” Lalor putting on a two-goal clinic. The Mustangs kept it close, with Ean “Small But Mighty” Small notching two goals. Ultimately, Tuck’s consistency in all three periods led to their 5-3 victory.
Key Players to Watch:
Tuck:
Maclean “Machine” Lalor – Lalor has been a scoring dynamo with 8 points in 3 games, leading the team in goals. If he finds space, he’s a scoring threat from anywhere on the ice.
Nicholas “Playmaker” Sullivan – With 9 points in 4 games, Sullivan knows how to set up plays and keep defenses on their heels.
Mikey “Sniper” Yablong – Scored on the power play last time these two met and has been an asset in man-advantage situations.
Mustangs:
Ean “Small But Mighty” Small – Small leads the Mustangs' scoring and is relentless around the net. He’s got 5 points this season and always brings his A-game against Tuck.
Schuyler “Saint” St. Germain – Came up with a big goal in the last game and adds depth to the Mustangs' offense.
Logan “Steady Hand” Caffrey – Known for his reliable play, Caffrey brings balance and vision, key for setting up scoring chances.
Quotes from the “Players”:
“Look, they may be tied with us in the series, but that’s about to change,” joked Maclean “Machine” Lalor. “We’re coming for that lead.”
“Last time, they got lucky. This time, it’s a full-on Mustang stampede,” responded Ean “Small But Mighty” Small. “Tuck better brace themselves.”
“Sully’s got more moves than a chess board. We’ve got a plan for him, though,” hinted Schuyler “Saint” St. Germain with a grin.
Odds & Predictions:
Moneyline: Tuck -120, Mustangs +110
Over/Under: 7.5 goals
Prop Bet:Maclean “Machine” Lalor and Ean “Small But Mighty” Small to both score 2+ points (+180)
Tuck comes in as slight favorites, but the Mustangs' home ice and recent performances make this one a tough call. With both teams boasting firepower, the over at 7.5 goals looks enticing. If Nicholas “Playmaker” Sullivan and Maclean “Machine” Lalor get rolling, the Mustangs’ defense will have their hands full.
Game Prediction: Expect a high-scoring game, as Tuck’s skill and Mustangs’ speed create chances at both ends. Tuck might have a slight edge, but don’t count the Mustangs out for a scrappy 5-4 win. The "Machine" Lalor and "Playmaker" Sullivan duo may prove too much to handle, but "Small But Mighty" Small could have a breakout night if Tuck’s defense slips.
The Wild Cards:
Schuyler “Saint” St. Germain – His balanced play could be key in keeping Tuck’s offense in check.
David “Big Dave” Husband – Known for his timely assists, he’s the silent engine behind Tuck’s offense.
Final Word: This matchup is as even as they come. Tuck’s offensive depth will need to counter the Mustangs' physical play and home-ice confidence. Will Tuck break the tie, or will the Mustangs make it a memorable night for their fans? Grab the popcorn; this one’s set to be a barnburner!

Mustangs are finally in the Win Column!
Do you believe in Miracles?!?!? The Mustangs won! The Mustangs Won! The Mustangs One! "If I had known that all I had to do was bring an entirely different team to get a win...I would have done that week 1!" Said Mustangs Captain / GM Will "The Thrill" Mudge with jubilation. Mudge is officially up for manager of the week for his General Managing the other night, as he pulled together a roster in the final hours that was built to win.
Sabky got things going in the frst by being Johnny on the Spot, hammering home a pair of rebounds. The first came off the rush of Pat Doherty just 2 minutes in and the second off a Van "Wilder" Bailey's shot at 8:33. The Mustangs made it an even Three goal lead with 2:11 to play on some superior puck movement. Doherty got the puck at the right point, pulled a defender to him before moving it across the blue line to Taylor "The Sailor" Willard who continued moving the puck to the left to Jack "Big Will" Smith. Smith's quick hard shot through a moving screen beat Marshall 5-holio.
END OF THE FIRST: Mustangs 3, Tuck 0
No penalties and only one goal in the second. Sabky completed the hattrick by being Johnny on the Spot once again. This time he found himself alone in front to tip in a Van Bailey shot/pass from the far boards.
END OF THE SECOND: Mustangs 4, Tuck 0
Tuck carried play most of the third period but couldn't solve Farr until 3:22 to play. Sam "The Greek God of Hockey" Youkilis crashed the near post and put in a cross-crease pass from Yusuke Shimomura to end the shutout bid for Farr and get the Tuckerdoodles on the board. Matthew "Omelette" Ouellette was outstanding in the third, testing Farr on 4 good scoring opportunities.
