In the final game of the night we have the Nordiques hosting the 3 time defending (2013-15) Champions Tuck. The Nords are coming back with a strong core from last year but the biggest change is that JT is no longer there goalie and Colin Farr is stepping in to fill his shoes. Tuck comes back most of the guys from last year"s squad including Dan Rosen in net but they did lose their top scorers Jed McDonald and John Dawson to graduation. As the game started Tuck came out looking like the defending champs and the Nords looked like a team that was trying to figure out how to get all the wheels on the bus rolling forward. After a couple minutes of play Tuck opened the scoring at 12:39 when Jared Pomerance tapped in a rebound off a Colin Farr save. The Nords were able to answer right back as Peter Scalia tied the game at the 10:17 mark. With the score tied at one, both teams kept testing each other"s goalie and at 3:33 left in the period the Nords got a penalty at 3:33 for too many men and then Tuck took two penalties right after to make it 4 on 3 for the Nords on the power play. While the Nords where on the 4 on 3 power player Tuck"s Will Collins was able to score shorthanded (4 on 3) to put them up 2-1 with 1:35 left in the period. The Nords were unable to score in the final 1:35 and the period ended 2-1 Tuck.

The Nords started the second period on a power play as they tried to get back the goal the gave up late in the period but they weren"t able too. However shortly after getting off the power play the Nords were able to tie the game when Richard Golden came in on a breakaway and beat Dan Rosen to tie the score at two. The Nords kept it coming and got the games next goal just 56 seconds later as Mike O"neil let a ripper go from the point to put the Nords up 3-2. With the Nords up 3-2 Tuck kept fighting back and was able to tie the score up just minute and eight seconds later (11:53) when Jared Pomerance scored his second of the night with a shot from the slot to be Farr. Both teams battled for the remained of the period and with 2:50 left in the period the Nords took their SECOND too many men penalty of the night. The Nords were able to kill that penalty off but they took another penalty with 33 seconds left in the period. Just six second on the power play is all it took for Tuck"s Sean O"Toole to score to give Tuck a 4-3 lead heading into the third period.

In the third the Nord"s couldn"t stay out of the box and took another penalty at 12:20 mark in the period to give Tuck there fifth power play of the night. While on the Power play Tuck was able to score again, this time it was from Mark Rautiola to put Tuck up 5-3. The Nords would take one more penalty during the period but they were able to kill it off and not give up another power play goal on the night. However late in the period Tuck was able to score two more goals, the first was from Johnny Mathias with 2:44 left in the game and the last goal was an empty net goal scored with just 57 seconds left in the game. Tuck wins the game 7-3 as they showed while they have won the last three championships even though there roster has changed slightly. The Nords on the other hand looked like a new team put together and they really need to figure out how to not get too many men on the ice for the rest of the season! It should be noted that Colin Farr should be great fill in for JT as he finished the night with 42 saves and if it wasn"t for him the score would have been a lot worst!
