In the second game of the night we have the Whalers hosting Tuck. Both teams come into this week off losses, the Whalers loss to the Jacks and Tuck loss to the the Blues in a shoot out. If Tuck can muster up a full squad then they will take this game 5-2.

In the second game of the night we have Tuck hosting the Whalers. Tuck comes into tonight after losing last week to the Blues as they have been short numbers with the second years out of town for the past month or so, the Whalers lost last week to Jacks and they look to bounce back into the win column. The Whalers Patrick Riley got the scoring started at 9:48 when he was able to put the puck past a stick less Colin Farr who was filling in for Tuck. Tuck was able to answer back just 46 seconds later when Michael Boches tapped in a loose puck that Farr couldn"t control. With the score tied the Whalers would answer right back as Ryan Brigham would put them up 2-1 with 8:25 left in the period. The teams would battle for the remainder of the period but the score remained 2-1 Whalers after one period of play.

In the second period Tuck picked up their play and would score two quick goals, the first came at 10:21 from Mark Rautiola and the second from Chris Pericak at 9:24 to put Tuck up 3-2. The Whalers Scotty Shaw would tie the game up at 3:16 when he picked up a loose puck and went in on a breakaway and beat Farr with a quick shot. Tuck"s Michael Boches notched his second of the night with just 3 seconds left in the period to put Tuck up 4-3 heading into the third.

In the third period Tuck came out hard after scoring a goal late in the second period and finally at 10:41 Tuck Chris Pericak would put Tuck up 5-3. The Whalers never gave up through the game as they would get one more goal from Patrick Riley with 7:50 to go in the game. That would be as close as the Whalers would get as Tuck added an insurance goal with 4:17 left from Doug Demartin to give Tuck a 6-4 win over the Whalers.
