Tuck has had a strong tradition in the UVHL and is one of the cornerstone franchises. Tuck tasted victory in 2004-05 with their first Whalen Cup on a famous goal scored in OT by their # 1 goalie, Stu Logan, who just happened to decide to hang up the pads the weekend before and skate out for the Whalen Cup Championship game and let Meg Becker cover the net against the UVHL Bruins. The Tuckies then went on to destroy the original Cup partying with it in true Tuck style. The 2005-06 Tuck captain, John Fox, graciously replaced the Cup, and even returned the pieces, too!

Tuck took another run at the 2006-07 Whalen Cup led by the smooth and classy Gary Hunter and his eventual fiancee Michelle "LaBabe" Labbe, and emerged victorious! They technically moved atop the UVHL history books with 3 Whalen Cups in their 5 years in the league winning again in 2007-08 with a "co-championship" shared with the Storm Kings during a season that saw no championship game due to Tuck spring vacations, Storm King apathy, and a large amount of BS with the Kings not answering the challenge to play for the Cup on Tuck's time and dime on a different night.

The past is the past, and Tuck is competitive even in rebuilding years. Who will lead their squad this season with the graduation of Adam Mantin, one of the most dynamic UVHL points per game scorers in league history? Will returning graduated captain Ryan McGovern help bring Whalen Cup glory back to the Big Green Machine? Only time will tell...but you can always expect solid play and sportsmanship from this juggernaut UVHL franchise.
