DING DING DING! Whalers & Jacks Round 3!

In the last week of play in the 2019 year we have the Whalers hosting the Jacks. The Whalers are coming into tonight with a 2 game losing streak after starting the season 6-2. The Jacks are coming into tonight of a 2-1 win over the Gamblers.  The Whalers took the first two games of the season from the Jacks this year but given their recent struggle will they bounce back? The edge goes to the Whalers as long as their whole team shows up again, they have been the better team all season so look for nothing to change here. The Whale wins this one by the score of 2-0. 

In the final night of the UVHL in 2019 we had the Whalers hosting the Jacks.  The Jacks came out ready to play as the Jacks Dillan Pierce put his team up 1-0 32 seconds into the game.  The score would remain 1-0 until Dillan Pierce (of the Jacks) would notch his second of the night this time at 7:23 mark.  A minute later the Whalers would finally answer back and make the score 2-1 on a goal from Jason Yehle. The Jacks would get add a third goal before the period ends, this time it was Jay Zanleoni who would give the Jacks a 3-1 lead heading into the second.  

In the second it was the Jacks Alex Boccolucci show, Alex would get the only two goals of the period the first at 10:05 and the second of the period coming with 23 second remaining.  The second period would come to an end with the Jacks up 5-1.  It should be noted that the Jacks Ryan Libby finished the period with 18 saves and if it wasn't for him the score could have been much closer. 

In the third period the Whalers Peter Scalia would get his team on the board first and make the score 5-2 at the 11:46 mark.  The Jacks would waste no time answering back as Alex Boccolucci would net his third goal of the night at 10:20 (Jacks leading 6-2).  The Jacks would then extend their lead to 7-2 on a goal by Jordan McGee at the 7:35 mark.  Although the game was all but over the Whalers fought to the last whistle and would get two more goal, one from Ryan Longfield and the last goal of the night from Chuck Gaede to make the final score 7-2 Jacks.
