In the first game of the night we have Tuck (2-0) hosting the Whalers (0-1). Tuck came ready to play tonight and got on the scoreboard first on a goal from Dan Gregg at 12:31 mark in the period. Halfway through the period Tuck would take a penalty but the Whalers weren't able to capitalize and shortly after Tuck would go up 2-0 with 2:48 left in the period on goal from Marc-Olivier Fullum-Precourt. The period would end with the score of 2-0 Tuck; the saves in the first were 16 for the Whalers Ken Lallier and 6 for Tuck's Colin Farr.
In the second period Tuck wasted no time extending their led to 3-0 on a goal from Thomas Fortney at 13:01. About halfway through the period the Whalers would finaly get on the board on a goal from Scotty Shaw at 5:57 to make the score 3-1. Tuck would answer right back, 40 seconds to be exact, to go up 4-1 on a goal from Radim Jaros. Tuck would add one more goal from Shawn Curley with 3:33 left in the period to put Tuck up 5-1 heading into the third. The saves in the second period were 13 for Lallier and 7 for Farr.
Heading into the third with Tuck in full contorl, the score would remain the same until 6:52 when Tuck's Mark Rinaldi made the score 6-1. The Whalers wouldn't give up though and they got two late goes, the first goal was scored by Ryan Quinn with a 1:34 left in the period. The Whalers third goal was scored by Scotty Shaw (second of the night) with 38 seconds remaining. The final score would be 6-3 Tuck and Tuck's Colin Farr would finish the night with 20 saves as the Whalers Ken Lallier would finish the night with 42 saves.
