In the second game of the night we have the Jacks hosting Tuck. The Jacks come back with the same roster for the most part but Tuck will have a lot of new faces as the lost a few key players and their goaltender! Although these two teams finished within one point of one another in the standings last year, it will take Tuck a few games to come together as a team. The Jacks will win this game by the score of 4-2.

In the second game on opening night we had the Jacks hosting Tuck. The Jacks come back with the same roster as last year; however Tuck comes back with 9 new players on their roster. This game unlike the first game started out fast with the Jacks Will Olmstead scoring at 11:13 mark to put the Jacks up 1-0. Tuck"s Emmanuel Vezina would tie the score 1-1 with a short hand goal with 7:22 left in the period. The score would remain tied 1-1 for the remainder of the period but both teams have plenty of opportunities.

In the second period Tuck"s Eil Karp wasted no time put Tuck up 2-1 as he scored 58 seconds into the period. The Jacks would answer right back when Loren Lunt would tie the score 2-2 just 48 seconds later. With the score tied both teams would settle down and Tuck"s Colin Farr came out to play the puck put he put it on the Jacks Colby Laperle"s stick and he tucked it in the empty net, one that Farr would like back. Although Farr made a mistake his teammates rallied around him and it was Emmanuel Vezina getting his second goal of the night with just 7 seconds left in the period to tie the score 3-3.

In the third period Tuck came out buzzing off their late goal in the second which caused the Jacks to take a penalty early in the period. Tuck couldn"t score on the power play but Tuck"s Eli Karp scored his second of the night shortly after the penalty expired put Tuck up 4-3. Tuck would go up 5-3 on a goal from Radim Jaros with 6:40 left in the period. The Jacks weren"t done yet as they picked up their game and make the score 5-4 on a Jay Zanleoni goal with 3 minutes left in the period. With the score separated by on goal Tuck kept up the pressure and forced the Jacks to take a penalty with 2:17 left in the game. On the Power play Tuck was able to put the game away on a goal from Mark Rinaldi with 24 seconds left in the game to make the final score 6-4 Tuck.
