In the first game of the night we have the Nords hosting the Jacks. Both teams come into this week looking to get back into the win column after the Jacks loss to the Blues and the Nords lost to Tuck. The edge is to the Jacks as the Nords have been struggling all year to play as a team. The Jacks will win this game 10-2.

In the first game of the night we have the Nords hosting the Jacks. Both teams come into this week looking to get back into the win column after the Jacks loss to the Blues and the Nords lost to Tuck. The Nords showed up with a full bench and the Jacks on the other hand only had 8 guys as well as a fill in goalie. The Nords came out hungry and ready to play as they scored the game"s first goal at 12:44 on a goal from Christian Machelski. The Nords would keep the pressure on but they were not able to get another goal and the Jacks would tie the game at 1 with a goal from Gary Laperle with 4:32 remaining in the period. The period would end with the score tied at one but the Nords outshot the Jacks 15-7.

In the second period it was the Nords again who get on the scoreboard first as Cole Hunter would put the Nords up 2-1 with a shorthanded goal at 11:28 mark. The lead for the Nords would only last 29 seconds as the Jacks would tie the score at 2 with a power play goal from Dillan Pierce at 10:59. The score would remain tied 2-2 until Casey Bourque would put the Nords up 3-2 with 23 seconds left in the period. Although the Nords were leading 3-2 they got out shot that period as the Jacks picked up their play.

In the third period the Nords were able to build off the late goal and extend their lead to two on Cole Hunters second goal of the night just 24 seconds into the period. The Nords would then go up 5-2 on a goal from Nico Brands at 9:42. The Jacks wouldn"t give up as Tim Patten would score the games next three goals (8:38, 6:58, and 4:07) to tie the score at 5. The Nords would keep the pressure on the Jacks and get the go ahead goal from Christian Machelski with 3:03 remaining in the period. The Jacks would push back and pull their goalie for an extra attacker but the Nords Roger Phillips would score an empty net goal with 8 seconds left to seal the 7-5 win for the Nords.
