In the second game of the night we have the top seed Tuck hosting the Nordiques. Tuck comes into this week of a 7-2 win over the Jacks where they exploded for 5 goals in the last two minutes of the second period. The Nords come into this week off a 5-2 loss where they ran into a hot goaltender. Look for Tuck to take control of this game early and they will cruise to a 6-3 win.

In the second game of the night we have the top seed Tuck hosting the Nordiques. Tuck comes into this week off a 7-2 win over the Jacks and the Nords come into this week off a 5-2 loss to Ramuntos. The games started off with the Nords Jamie Solon scoring just 38 seconds into the game. It wasn"t long though before Tuck tied the game as John Dawson was set up back door at 12:46. The game continued to be tied until Tuck took a penalty at the 8:11 mark, giving the Nords a power play. While the Nords were unable to capitalize on the power play, Tuck"s Jed McDonald scored two shorthanded goals in a span of 24 seconds. The first goal came off a great individual effort as McDonald blocked a shot from the point and skated down one on one and fired a bullet past the Lallier (who was filling in). The second goal that McDonald scored was a rebound that he tapped as he came down on a 2 on 1 with team mate Will Collins. With Tuck up 3-1 half way through the first they didn"t stop there, they scored their next goal with 4:28 left in the period when Jared Pomerance put Tuck up 4-1. Just about a minute and half later Jed McDonald got his third goal of the night with 3:08 left in the period. The period would end with Tuck in full control of the game and up 5-1 after 15 minutes of play.


In the second period Tuck kept taking it to the Nords and once again Jed McDonald scored the game"s next goal with 8:47 left in the period. This goal was again shorthanded, his third shorthanded goal of the night and fourth total. Tuck would get one more goal in the second period from Mark Rautiola. The Nords would get a late period goal from newcomer Zach Mines to make the score 7-2 after two periods.


In the third Tuck continued to keep pushing and not letting the Nords back into the game. Tuck would get a goal at 12:11 from (you guessed it) Jed McDonald and he would score again at 4:56 to give him a total of 6 goals and an assist for the night. Tuck would add one late goal from Johnny Mathias as they cruised to a 10-2 win.
