Dead River is an 8 goal underdog in this one and that isn't fun for anyone as this David vs Goliath match sees the top ranked Tuck(11-3-0-1) faces the bottom ranked Dead Riverians(1-14-0).

Dead River has allowed a league worst 116 goals in 15 games or 7.73 goals per game while only scoring 41. Tuck has a nice goal differential of 25 as their offense has chipped in 67 goals and they've only allowed a league low 42...not too shabby for a team without a true defenseman on their roster. Most of that ridiculously low GAA is due to the heroics of Mike "Wine & Dine" Devine who has been outstanding.

Tuck is too deep and talented for Dead River and this game will be out of reach before the second period. Dead River is still young and is still trying to find their identity but refuse to start with a defensive minded system.

This will be a 9-1 win for Tuck.

Goliath Stomps David. Tuck 7, Dead River 2

It is what it is...and we all knew that it was going to end badly for Dead River. Vegas had Tuck winning by 8 goals and a score of 9-1...so I guess you could say that Dead River overachieved tonight with a 7-2 loss.

Dead River's(1-14-0) roster woes continued with only 7 players and a goalie, so they pulled in the services of the Nordique's Kelly "The Turnover" Park to give them and even 8 skaters.

Tuck(11-3-0) was at it's best, scoring goals in all 3 periods, but a four goal outburst in the second was the icing on the cake. Brandon "The Harry One" Harrington scored his 23rd & 24th goals of the season to lead the way, also adding a helper along the way. Mike "Wine & Dine" Devine made 28 saves en route to his 10th win of the season and was both a Player Of the Week nominee and first star in this game.

Tuck used 5 different goal scorers; Harrington's 2, a snipe by John Curran, a nice goal by Kevin McCafferty, two from Eric Rautiola and a Jeffery "The Wasp" Wannop tally late in the first period.

Dead River had two goals in the effort. The first came from a Kyle "The Sherpa" Koetsier tip off the crossbar and in from the top of the crease off a rocket pass from Park down low. The second came on a great tick-tack-toe play mid-way through the third period when Park fired the puck down low to Noel Baxter who immediately fed the puck across to the slot to a waiting Greg "WAGHIP" Hadley. To the naked eye, it looked like Hadley whiffed on the pass and that the puck bounced up off his stick, hit him in the belly and fired the biscuit like a missile past Devine. The play is still under video review.

Dead River's Matty "The Eagle" Crowson had one of his best games of the year and despite giving up 7 goals, he made 44 saves and stopped almost every shot he actually had a chance at stopping. Tuck was too smart and quick for Dead River tonight.
