In the first game of the night we had the defending champs Tuck hosting the Gamblers.  Tuck showed up with a very light bench but that didn't slow them down as the Gamblers were trying to figure out some team chemistry.  Tuck would score the game’s only goal in the first period when Gillian Apps put a quick snap shot past Tucker Garrity-Hanchett with 4:21 remaining in the period.

In the second period the Gamblers picked up their play but it would be Tuck's Dan Gregg that would put Tuck up 2-0 at the 6:00 minute mark.  The Gamblers would fight back into the game when Christian Machelski hit Will Meyer with a break away pass, Tuck's Farr would make the first save but Meyer would put the rebound past him to make the score 2-1 with 3:02 remaining in the period.  Tuck would keep the pressure on the Gamblers and extend their lead to two goals again on a goal from Mark Piana with 2:02 remaining.   With the quick goal the Gamblers would get frustrated and take two penalties before the period was over to give Tuck a 5 on 3 power play heading into the third period.

In the third Tuck would not score on the 5 on 3 power play however the Gamblers found themselves in the box right after they killed it off and this time they weren't as lucky as Mark Piana would score his second of the night to make the score 4-1 with 11:20 remaining.  The Gamblers wouldn’t' give up after going down by three goals as they would draw two power plays but they couldn't capitalize on the chances. Tuck would go on to winning  the game by the score of 4-1.
