In the first game of the night we Tuck hosting the top seed Blues. Tuck comes into this week off a 3-2 shootout loss to the Gamblers and Tuck comes into this week off a 7-2 win over the Nords. Believe it or not Tuck leads the season series 2-1, look for this game to be a battle but the Blues are playing too well right now to lose again to Tuck. The Blues will win this one 3-2.

In the first game of the night we Tuck hosting the top seeded Blues. Tuck comes into this week off a 3-2 shootout loss to the Gamblers and Blues comes into this week off a 7-2 win over the Nords. The game started out with both teams flying for the first five minutes, it wasn"t until 10:28 mark when Tuck got on the scoreboard first on a goal from Mark Rautiola. The rest of the period would be end to end action but neither team would score again as the period would end with the score 1-0 Tuck.

In the second period Tuck was able to draw a penalty 30 seconds in on the Blues but the Blues Jay Seals was the team"s best penalty killer tonight as he would turn away a handful of shots on the PP chance for Tuck. After killing of the penalty the Blues would tie the game up at 10:23 on a goal from Jason Rasco. With the score tied the Blues would take another penalty with just under five minutes left in the period but once again the Seals was there to keeping everything out of the net. While killing the penalty the Blues got a shorthanded goal from Tyler White with 2:58 left in the period to put them up 2-1. It looked as if the Blues would take a 2-1 lead into the third period but Tucks Johnny Mathais was able to tie the score up with 54 seconds left in the period. The period would end with the score tied 2-2 and the Blues net minder (Seals) would finish the period with 13 saves and a two period total of 25.

In the third period Tuck would come out flying building off the late goal in the second, their high energy would force the Blues to make a mistake and turn the puck over to Tuck"s Andrew Cox who would put it past seals to make the score 3-2 Tuck with 13:44 left in the period. After giving up the lead the Blues would tie the game up just 19 seconds later on a goal from Jason Mikula at 13:25. After tying the game at three the Blues would take another penalty but once again Seals was a wall in net and turned away all the shots on the Tuck PP. The Blues would gain momentum from killing the penalty and TJ Moran would put the Blues up 4-3 with 7:45 left in the period. This goal would prove to be the game winner but not before a late push from Tuck as they ended up out shooting the Blues 17 to 7. If it wasn"t for Seals in net for the Blues this game could have been a different outcome as Seals finished the night with 41 saves. With the win the Blues have clinched the regular season title and also earned a first round bye regardless of what they do the next two weeks.
