The Whalers have been streaky this season, and Dead River is only as good as the subs they bring in each week, but this is the Whaler's game to lose.

The Whalers are deep...like 8 lines deep, literally. They have some offensive tools that make every defensive pairing in the league at least piddle in their jockstrap once a game.

Dead Rier has 6 players on their roster and usually use alternates from the Brewers and Whalers. Unfortunately the Brewers play in the first game of the night and probably won't stick around and they are playing against the Whale. This could be a rough game for DR.

Whalers will dominate, Dead River's Greg "I'm F*CKED" Feiden will stand on his head and lose 6-3.

Dead River Shocks the Whalers 6-3

The heavily favored Whalers walked out of the rink hanging their heads after loosing to the bottom dwelling Dead River team. Dead River was the beneficiary of some key alternate players joining their roster for the evening due to their weekly roster issues.

Tonight's guests were a pair of Gambler's defensemen, Nick "MacStick" MacDonald and Ryan "Bergie" Bergeron. The dynamic duo solidified the DR blue line, giving goaltender Greg "The Crease Terrorist" Feiden some much needed support.

That support was crucial and Feiden had one of his best games of the season, stopping 25 en route to the win.

The Whalers came out hard, scored the first two goals of the game and then went to sleep. Dead River notched the next six and the game was over.
