In the final game of the 2019 season we had the Gamblers hosting the Blues. The first period started out with back and forth action as the period would end with a 0-0 score and the Gamblers would finish the period with 9 shots and the Blues with 10.
In the second period it was the Tim McAuliffe show, time would open the scoring at 12:38, then 17 seconds late he would put his team up 2-0 with 12:21 remaining. The Gamblers would cut the lead down to one on a goal from Topo Lacroix. The Gamblers would the tie the score up at 2-2 on a goal from Ray Nolan. The Blues would score two goals in the final 3 minutes, the first coming from Tyler Hancock and then Tim McAuliffe would notch his third goal of the period with 26 seconds left. The Blues would take a 4-2 lead heading into the third period.
In the third the Gamblers came out hungry trying to get back into this game, the hard work would pay off as Topo LaCroix would get his second of the night and make the score 4-3 with 9:53 left. The Gamblers would keep fighting to get the next goal to tie the score up but it just wasn't in the cards tonight as Blues would go on to win the game by the score of 4-3 even though the Gamblers outshot the Blues 35 to 21.
