In the first game of the night we had the Jacks hosting Tuck. The game started out with a fast pace with the Jacks dictation most of the play early one. The Jack would score the game’s first goal with Nico Brands cashing in at the 12:15 mark. The Jacks would keep the pressure on Tuck and it was Jordan McGee who put the Jacks up 2-0 with 8:41 left in the period. The Jacks Evan Seely would put the Jacks up 3-0 at the 5:49 mark as the Jacks looked well in charge of this game early. With a 3-0 lead the Jacks would take two quick penalties at 3:22 and 3:14 giving Tuck a 5-3 power play chance. Tuck was not able to cash in on the chance but yet again the Jack's would score this time it was Alex Brands (shorthanded) with 2:38 left in the period. As the period came to an end the Jacks were well in charge of this game and up 4-0 heading into the second.
In the second the score would stay the same but would give the Jacks 3 power play chances but they couldn't get one past Tuck's Lindsay Holdcroft. Although the Jacks were on the PP for 6 minutes out of the period the shots were pretty even as the Jacks would have 12 shots and Tuck would have 10. The score would remain the same 4-0 after two periods of play.
The third period was much like the second period, both teams would take 2 penalties a piece but neither team could score on the power play. The game would end with the Jacks winning by the score of 4-0.
