In the Second game of the night we had the Blues hosting Tuck. The Blues came out hungry and got on the scoreboard 27 seconds into the game on a goal from Tim McAuliffe. With Tuck still trying to figure out what hit them, the Blues would go up 2-0 on a goal from Bart Moran just 66 seconds later (13:27). The Blues would keep their foot on the gas pedal and keep pressuring Tuck shot after shot; finally the Blues would go up 3-0 on a goal from Tim Barrett at 7:56 mark. The first period was all Blues and if Tuck didn't have Lindsay Holdcroft in net they would have been down more than three goals as she finished the period with 14 saves vs. the Blues Jay Seals who had 4 saves.
In the second the Blues would get another goal from Tim McAuliffe (2nd of the night) at 11:03 mark to put the Blues up 4-0. After this goal Tuck finally woke up and started creating some scoring chances but they couldn't get anything past the Blues net minder. The period would end with the Blues up 4-0 but Tuck outshot the Blues in this period, 12 shots for Tuck vs. 10 shots for the Blues.
In the final period of play it was all Blues again as Tim McAuliffe would get his 3rd goal of the night for a hat trick with 8:01 remaining. Tuck would get a few good chances but the Blues would hold on to win the game 5-0. The Blues Jay Seals would get his first shutout of the season with a 22 save outing and Tuck's Lindsay Holdcroft would finish the night with 37 saves.
