In the last game of the season we have the Gamblers hosting the Jacks. The Gamblers come into this week off a 6-5 win over the Whalers and the Jacks are coming off a bye. Look for this game to be a very close one as both teams are battling in the standings. The edge goes to the Jacks with their depth as they will win this one by the score of 4-2.

*Which ever team wins should finish in 3rd place if Tuck win, if Tuck loses then the winner will finish in 2nd place and the loser will finish in 3rd or 4th depending on the tie breaker.

In the second game of the night we had the Gamblers hosting the Jacks. This game was going to mean a lot but with Tuck losing it meant both teams would not need to play in the play in game on Sunday 2/25. The game started out with the Jacks grabbing the lead at 9:33 on a goal from Tim Patten. The Gamblers would answer right back a minute late when Topo LaCroix would tie the game 1-1 at 8:29. Then the Jacks would pick up their play and get three unanswered goals, Jordan McGee would score at 6:48 to put the Jacks up 2-1. Then Joe Gaudet would score at 4:05 and Will Olmstead would close out the scoring at 1:18 giving the Jacks a 4-1 lead heading into the second.

In the second it was all Jacks as they put their foot down on the gas pedal and didn't let up. Joe Gaudet would score his second of the night at 13:09 and then complete the hat trick at 5:43 to give the Jacks a 6-1 lead. The Jacks Tim Patten would score his second of the night and extend the Jacks lead to 7-1 at 3:57. The Gamblers didn't give up as they kept firing shots but the Jacks were doing a good job to keeping them to the outside when allowing shots. The Gamblers Will Meyer would score with 2:31 left in the period to make the score 7-2 Jacks heading into the third.

In the third the Jacks kept the pressure on but the Gamblers were able to keep them off the scoreboard until 5:36 left in the period when Jake Robinson would score to make the score 8-2. The Gamblers would get a late goal from Topo LaCroix with 51 seconds left as the Jacks would go on to win this game by the score of 8-3.

These two teams will meet in the semifinals on Tuesday as the Jacks finished with the second seed and the Gamblers finished in third.
