In the second game of the night we have the Labatt Blues hosting the Gamblers. The Blues are sitting in 1st place in the league after going 8-0-1 with there only loss coming in a shoot out. The Gamblers are in second place with a 7-2 record and one of their two losses was to the Blues. Tonight's game will be a hard fought game that will see the Blues keep there unbeaten streak alive as they win this game 5-3 with an empty net goal to seal the win.

In the second game of the night we have the Labatt Blues hosting the Gamblers. The Blues are sitting in 1st place in the league after going 8-0-1 with their only loss coming in a shootout. The Gamblers are in second place with a 7-2 record and with one of their two losses to the Blues. The first period the Gamblers came out hungry after being off for two weeks and taking the play to the Blues. Although the Gamblers got the games only power play chance they were unable to capitalize on it and the period would end with a 0-0 score.

In the second period the Blues picked up their play and it paid off at 11:35 when Brian Smith was set up back door by Tyler White and Keith Lazarczyk to put the Blues up 1-0. The Blues kept the pressure on but the Gamblers Ryan Van Schoick was solid in net and didn"t let anything by for the remainder of the period. Van Schoick would finish the period with 11 saves and Seals would finish with 9 saves as the score would remain 1-0 Blues after two periods of play.

In the third period both teams were pushing for the games next goal but both goalies were on tonight. The Gamblers would make a late period push and pull their goalie but they were not able to score. The Blues would go on to win the hard fought game between the top two teams in the league 1-0.
