In the second game of the night we had the Lumberjacks hosting Tuck and much like the first game both teams were battling for third and fourth place in the standings. In the opening period it was back and forth hockey as both teams looked to get the lead. The Lumberjacks would take the game"s first penalty but they were able to kill it off and then Tuck would take 3 penalties in a row. Tucks last penalty would come with 3:23 left in the period and give the Jacks a late power play. The Jacks would make Tuck pay for the late power play as Colby Laperle would put the Jacks up 1-0 with a 1:46 left in the period. The period would end with the Jacks leading 1-0 but it should be noted that both goalies were challenged all period and both raised to the occasion as the Jacks Chris Pelkey finished the period with 13 saves and Tucks Dan Rosen finished with 15.

In the second period the play was even for the first seven minutes as both teams exchanged power play chances again. While playing 4 on 4 hockey the Jacks were able to grab a 2-0 lead when Jordan McGee put home a rebound that Tucks Dan Rosen couldn"t control at the 8:34 mark. Once play returned to 5 on 5 Tuck picked up there play and got on the scoreboard when Shawn Curley took a shot from the point that had seeing eyes into the back of the net with 6:36 to go in the period. The next goal of the period came with just 2:01 left in the period when Tucks Adam Yang showed how hard work pays off. Yang picked the puck up in Tucks defensive end, chipped it by the Jacks D, picked up the puck and cut hard to the net and beat Jacks Pelkey high glove side to tie the score 2-2. With Tuck gaining momentum and looking to take the lead for the first time in the game, They would get called for a penalty with 43 seconds left in the period to give the Jacks a PP opportunity late in the period. The Jacks would cash in on this PP when Will Olmstead was able to tip a shot from Jake Robinson with just 5 seconds left in the period to put the Jacks up 3-2. Again like the first both goalies were challenged and both were there to answer as Pelkey finished with 20 saves in the period (2 period total of 33) and Tucks Rosen had 15 saves (2 period total of 30).

In the third the Jacks would get an early power play and they would again cash in when Christian Henault put the Jacks up 4-2. Tuck would do all they could to get another goal but the Jacks Pelkey turned away all 13 shots he faced in the third and the Jacks would win 4-2. The Jacks won this game due to Tuck taking 7 penalties, 3 of which the Jacks were able to score on and the Jacks Chris Pelkey was a difference in the net finishing with 46 saves on the night. It should also be note that Tucks Dan Rosen had 38 saves most of them coming while his team was killing penalties.
