In the final game of the night we have the Jacks (1-1) hosting the Whalers (0-2). The Jacks come into tonight off a 7-2 win over the Nords and the Whalers are coming off a 4-1 loss to the Blues. This game will be close through two periods as long as the Jacks can stay out of the box. If they do so look for them to cruise to a 7-3 win over the Whalers.

In the final game of the night we have the Jacks (1-1) hosting the Whalers (0-2). The Jacks come into tonight off a 7-2 win over the Nords and the Whalers are coming off a 4-1 loss to the Blues. The game started out with the Jacks coming out hard from the open faceoff. The Jacks were able to get on the scoreboard first when Will Olmstead put the puck past Kenny Lallier after he couldn"t control the rebound at 13:28. The Jacks kept the pressure on the Whalers and they were able to go up 2-0 on a Sean Murphy goal at 10:25. After going down two goals quick in the period the Whalers picked up there play to match the Jacks and they ended up outshooting the Jacks 13-10. The period would end with the Jacks up 2-0 heading into the second.

In the second period the Jacks came out with a purpose as they knew if they let the Whalers hang around any longer they would be right back in this game. The Jacks did just that as they scored the game"s third goal at 11:07 when Colby Laperle put the Jacks up 3-0. About two minutes later the Jacks Tim Patten would put the Jacks up 4-0 after Lallier made three saves on the Jacks but his team couldn"t help clear the put. With the Jacks up 4-0 the Whalers finally got on the scoreboard at 8:41 when Mike Avery got his first of the night. It would only take 50 seconds for the Jacks to answer back when Brain Gattie put the Jacks up 5-1. The Jacks would add two more goals by Jordan McGee and Colby Laperle) to end the period with a 7-1 lead over the Whalers.

In the third period the Jacks would take penalty just 22 seconds into the period, although they were shorthanded the Jacks would be the ones who scored the game"s next goal when Tim Patten was hit with a pass from Jay Zanleoni to go in on break away and beat Lailler to put them up 8-1 with 13:06 to go in the game. The Jacks would get another goal from Sean Murphy at 8:09 to give the Jacks a 9-1 lead. With the game out of reach the Whalers were able to get three goals late in the period, two from Dillan Pierce and one from Molly Eugstrom. The Jacks would get one more goal and go on to win the game 10-4 over the Whalers.
