In the final game of the night we have the top two teams taking on one another, #1 Lumberjacks vs #2 Tuck. The Jacks come into this week off a 11-5 over the short handed Nords. Tuck comes into this week off a hard fought 7-5 loss to the Gamblers. Both of teams have fast paced players who are also very skilled which will keep this game close. The Jacks are winning the season series 2-1 but look for Tuck to rise to the occasion and take this game 4-2 over the Jacks.

In the final game of the night we have the top two competing, #1 Lumberjacks vs. #2 Tuck. The Jacks come into this week off a 11-5 win over the short handed Nords. Tuck comes into this week off a hard fought 7-5 loss to the Gamblers. This game opened up with a fast pace tempo as each team had some chances early. The Jacks were able to get on the scoreboard first when Jay Zanleoni was set up backdoor by Christian Henault with 6:22 left in the period. The period would finish with the Jacks leading 1-0 although Tuck had more chances. Both goalies were playing well as Dan Rosen finished the period with 9 saves and Ryan Libby with 12.

The second period started with back and forth action as both teams were looking to get the games next goal. The score remained the same until 6:08 in the period when Conrad Trimbath was set by John Dawson and Jed McDonald. The Jacks answered right back though as Marc Gattie scored with a shot from the point with 3:11 left in the period. Tuck was able to answer right back though as Conrad Trimbath got his second of the night and second of the period with 2:43 left on the clock. After this goal Tuck started to really put the pressure on the Jacks and the scored again just 39 second later. This time it was Mark Ratutiola who put Tuck on top for the first time tonight. Tuck didn"t stop there and were able to score two more goals before the period was over. The first goal was from Johnny Mathias who was set up by line mate Jared Pomerance to put Tuck up 4-2 with just a 1:52 left. Then the last goal of the period was scored by Jared Pomerance with a 1:23 left in the period to put Tuck up 5-2. Both of these last minute goals were scored due to the Jacks running around in their zone and not picking up their men. Although Tuck was up 5-2 after the second period Dan Rosen had 13 saves as most of them came in the beginning of the period.

With Tuck up 5-2 as they scored 4 goals in the final 2:43 in the second period they continued to roll in the third as they scored just 14 seconds into the period. The goal was scored by Spencer Vaughn as he let a slapper go from the point. Tuck added one more goal with 11:43 left in the period, this time it was scored by Jed McDonald as he put Tuck up 7-2. Although there was a lot of time left in the game the Jacks tried everything to get the puck past Rosen but he would not allow another goal tonight. Tuck would cruise to a 7-2 victory and Dan Rosen would finish the night off with 38 saves (16 in the third).
