In the late game we have the Nordiques hosting the Lumberjacks. The Jacks come into this week after a convincing 7-1 win over Ramunto's, where as the Nords come into this week off a 9-4 loss to the G-men. The Jacks have only lost four times this year (once to the Nords) but for the most part they have been on cruise control through the league. The Nords have been struggling lately due fielding a full roster and injuries. Look for the Jacks to continue to cruise and win the game 6-3.

In the final game of the night we have the Nordiques hosting the Lumberjacks. The Jacks come into this week after a convincing 7-1 win over Ramunto's, whereas the Nords come into this week off a 9-4 loss to the G-men. The Nords have had issues with numbers lately and for tonight"s game they showed up with 5 skaters and a goalie, they would pick up one sub late in the first period. This would play a factor for the Nords as the Jacks had a full roster and only missing two players. The Jacks didn"t waste any time getting on the scoreboard as Jordan McGee scored the game"s first goal at the 11:00 mark. The Nords tied the game at 8:31 when Jamie Solon beat Zach Lary with a quick snap shot high. The Jacks answered right back, when Christian Henault was set up back door by Tim Patten and Jay Zanleoni at 7:33. The Jacks kept the pressure on the Nords and got the games next goal at 6:01 from Colby LaPerle who was set up by Henault. Just 45 seconds later Colby LaPerle struck again, this time he was set up by Gary LaPerle and Jordan McGee. The Jacks Christian Henault got his second goal of the night this time from Tim Patten and Jordan McGee. The period would end with the Jacks up 5-1 and the Nords played most of the period without a sub.

The second period started with the Jacks continuing to take it to the Nords, the Jacks got the games next goal at 11:52 from Colby LaPerle who was set up by Jared LaBelle. Although the Nords only had one sub they weren"t go rollover that easily, Jamie Solon scored his second of the night at 9:07 making the score 6-2 Jacks. The Nords kept the pressure on and Jamie Solon got his third goal of the night at 7:56 after Greg Marsh fired a shot on Lary who made the save but couldn"t control his rebound. Then at 4:53 Jamie Solon again cashed in for his fourth goal to pull the Nords within two, 6-4 Jacks. The Jacks were finally able to answer back at 4:03 when Colby LaPerle scored his fourth of the night to put the Jacks up 7-4. Then just two minutes later the Jacks Jared LaBelle scored to put the Jacks up 8-4. The Nords Jamie Solon scored his fifth goal of the night with 1:41 left in the period to make the score 8-5. Although the Nords outscored the Jacks in the second frame, the Jacks still had more offensive chances as JT had 17 saves in the second.

In the third period fatigue finally set in for the Nords as they had nothing left in the tank. The Jacks were able to add three more goals (Colby LaPerle, Tyler Dewdney and Christian Henault) to win the game 11-5. The Nords gave a valiant effort but they just couldn"t compete with a full roster and much respect to the Jacks for not making the score higher than it was.
