In the first game of the night we had the Gamblers hosting the top seeded Tuck. The game started out with both teams coming out hard and fast looking to get the game"s first goal. Tuck was able to strike first with 7:46 left in the period on a John Dawson goal who was sitting all alone in the slot. The Gamblers picked up their play and continued to fire shots at Rosen testing him often. The Gamblers Ryan LaCroix was able to pick a breakout pass by Tuck"s defensemen, once the puck was on his stick he hit Topo with a quick pass, who then set up Max Woods in the slot, with all the time in the slot Max walked in and be Rosen high blocker side to tie the game at one heading into the second period.

The Gamblers started the second period on the power play and capitalized as Ryan LaCroix scored just twenty seconds into the period to put the G-men up 2-1. It didn"t take long for Tuck to tie the game up as John Dawson got his second of the night at 9:46 as he was set up by Jed McDonald and Will Collins. Tuck kept the pressure on the Gamblers and it paid off at 5:01 when Will Collins scored the game"s go ahead goal after some great puck movement on a 3 on 2. Collins was set up by line mates Jed McDonald and Mark Rautiola. The period ended with Tuck up 3-2 but both teams were still in this game.

In the third period the Gamblers came out hungry just like they did in the second and it took them just 58 seconds to get the games tying goal. Max Woods was able to sneak behind Tuck"s defense as the Gamblers were breaking out of there end and Ryan Bergeron hit him with a hard pass to spring him in on a breakaway to tie the game at 3. The Gamblers didn"t stop there and kept the momentum going as Jason Gramling put the G-men up 4-3 with 13:08 to go in the game. The Gamblers would take a penalty just 30 seconds after getting the lead and Tuck would use that to their advantage as Jed McDonald was able to tie the score up at 4 after being set up by John Dawson and Will Collins. The Gamblers kept the pressure on Tuck and about three minutes after giving up the tying goal Dan Ammel put the G-men up again 5-4 with 8 minutes left in the game. Although the Gamblers were leading by one, Tuck kept the pressure on and firing shots from all angles on Van Schoick. Tuck"s Will Collins was able to tie the game at 5 when he beat Van Schoick 5-hole with a hard shot that went off of Van Schoick"s stick and in. Although the Gamblers were being out shot in the third they took their chances when they could, finally with a 1:15 left in the game Max Woods put the Gamblers up 6-5 as Ryan LaCroix set him up. On the next faceoff Tuck got control of the puck and put it deep allowing them to pull Rosen for an extra skater. The Gamblers were able to get control of the puck and skate it past the center ice line where Topo LaCroix put the puck in the empty net. The G-men went on to win this game 7-5 and if it wasn"t for Ryan Van Schoick who had 35 saves on the night (17 in the 3rd alone) this game could have been a different outcome for the G-men.
