In the first game of the night we have #2 Tuck taking on #3 Ramuntos. Tuck comes into this week after a big 3-2 comeback win over the Nords. Tuck has been playing really well lately and get a solid effort from the whole team.

Ramuntos comes into this week after a hard fought 5-4 win over the Gamblers last week. Ramuntos has also been on a roll winning their last three games.

Look for this game to be a close game but Tucks talent will take over the game as they cruise to a 4-1 win.

Tuckies roll over Ramuntos 5-1

The Tuckies took it to Ramuntos tonight in a solid 5-1 win. All 5 of Tucks goals came from their big 3 as Jed McDonald (2 goals), Will Collins (2g, 1a) & John Dawson (1g, 3a) notched 8 of their teams 10 points. Ramuntos was only able to manage a single goal against Dan Rosen who was oustanding as he turned away 29 shots en route to the win.

The first period was very close as both teams put as much rubber on net as possible but it took almost 13 minutes for Tuck to finally put one past Matt "Tazzy" Albertazzi. That goal came off the stick of Will Collins, his 12th of the year. On the following faceoff Collins set up defenseman John Dawson just 26 seconds later for the 2-0 win. It was an impressive shift for Tuck and they carried that 2-0 lead to the 2nd period.

Ramuntos finally broke through at 12:24 when Jason Rasco finished a Trevor Billings pass to cut the deficit in half. But Tuck came roaring back in the period, scoring two more goals and outshooting Ramuntos 15-6 in the second frame. The two goals were scored in lightning quick succession, just 9 seconds apart with Jed "Old" McDonald converting on a Dawson pass at 10:23 of the period only to see dawson set up Collins off the faceoff for a 4-1 lead. Ramuntos survived the remainder of the second period, but the damage was done.

An early goal in the 3rd period by Dawson, assisted by Alexander Kremer, capped Dawson's amazing night. Dawson finished with a goal and 3 assists. Ramuntos managed 7 shots on goal in the 3rd, but Dan Rosen was too damn good.
