The Gamblers come into this game with a 5-3-1 record and are right behind the Nords in third place. The Gamblers are riding a three game win streak and the most recent win was a blow out over the Jacks. The Gamblers are lead by Topo LaCroix (2nd in points) , Goose LaCroix (5th in points),Max Woods (4th in points) and Ryan Van Schoick in net.

This game will be a very good game between two teams that are playing well right now. Although the Nords have been playing really well as a team, the Gamblers will fight through and take this game 4-2.

The Nords come into the week with a 5-2-2 record, sitting in second place. The Nords have been playing solid hockey lately and riding a three game win streak. Meanwhile the Gamblers come into this game with a 5-3-1 record and are right behind the Nords in third place. The Gamblers are also riding a three game win streak and the most recent was a blow out over the Jacks. Both teams came out fast in the first but the Nords were able to get on the scoreboard just 43 seconds into the game as Jamie Solon scored on a 2 on 1 give and go with Billy Sailer. The Gamblers pushed back but they weren"t able to get the puck into the back of the net (just off the post a few times). Both teams had plenty of chances the rest of the period but both goalies played really well. JT finished with 15 saves and Ryan Van Schoick had 14 as the period ended 1-0 Nords.

Both teams were still pressuring hard the beginning of the second period, but the Nords struck first again. This time they scored at the 12:21 mark on a goal from Billy Sailer who was set up by line mates Roger Phillips and Jamie Solon. After being down 2-0 the Gamblers dug deep and were able to get on the scoreboard when Topo and Goose LaCroix came into the offensive zone on a 2 on 1 in which Topo was able to put a one timer past JT at the 10:46. Less than a minute later Max Woods was able to pick up a d-zone turn over and tuck one past JT to tie the game at 2-2 at 9:53. After two quick goals to tie the game up the Nords picked up their play, just a minute later Jamie Solon does what Jamie Solon does and goes around everyone to put the Nords back up 3-2. A minute after going up 3-2, the Nords got another goal this time it came from Ryan McGovern as he crept down from the point and was hit with a tape to tape pass from Billy Sailer and Roger Phillips. With the Nords up 4-2 they continued to pressure the Gamblers but RVS played well keeping the Gamblers in this game. The Nords were able to get one more goal late in the period from Adrien Melrose unassisted with a 1:39 left in the period. The Nords had a solid second period scoring four goals and leading 5-2.

With the Gamblers down by three goals they knew they had to score early to keep themselves in this game. They were able to do just that scoring at 12:39 when the Gamblers Dan Ammel was set up off a faceoff in the offensive zone, 5-3 Nords. Now that the Gamblers were within two goals they continued to pressure the Nords, the hard work paid off when Topo LaCroix was able to score his second of the game to pull the Gamblers within a goal, 5-4 Nords. On the insuming faceoff after the goal the Nords were able to win the faceoff, dump the puck deep, Billy Sailer was the first one to the puck and dug it out of the corner and hit Roger Phillips with a pass who then set up Jamie Solon for his third goal of the night at 6:53 to put the Nords up 6-4. The Nords got the games next goal at 5:14 when Roger Phillips tipped a Pierce Mayhew shot from the point to put the Nords up 7-4. The Gamblers pushed backed but they were not able to get another goal as JT played really well in third. The Nords won the game 7-4 but it was a hard fought game by both teams as both goalies played really well. JT finished the night with 34 saves and Ryan Van Schoick finished with 33.
