Ramuntos comes into this game on a two game losing streak after starting out 3-0. Ramuntos has struggled lately to play well as a team as the two losses have come against the top two teams in the league. They have been getting scoring from everyone on the team but their top line(Mathew Littler, Justin Lawrence and Terence Moran) has been impressive with 8 points each.

The Whalers come in to the game as the last place team and still haven't registered a win. Last week they played there best team effort and lost in shoot out to Tuck. The Whalers deserved to win but couldn't fend off the Tuck come back. The Whalers have been led in scoring by Scotty Shaw and James Kerrigan.

Tonight is the night that the Whalers get there first win, they are peaking mean while Ramuntos is struggling to find their team play again. The Whalers win this one 4-3 for the first win of the season.

The final game of the night saw Ramuntos taking on the Whalers; Ramuntos started out the season very hot but haven"t been playing as well lately, whereas the Whalers are the only team in the league to still not have a win. The game started off with Ramuntos controlling the tempo of the play, as the Whalers were trying to break out of their end Keith Lazarczyk stripped one of the Whalers defensemen behind the net and scored a sick wrap around goal. Both teams had chances the rest of the period but both goalies were there to make the saves (Lallier had 10 saves in the first and Tazzi had 6) to keep the score 1-0 Ramuntos after one.

The Second period was much like the first with both teams pressuring trying to score on the other team"s mistakes, the game was starting to open up as Ramuntos was looking to take a 2-0 and the Whalers were looking to tie the game 1-1. Each goalie was playing well when tested and not allowing a goal but with just :24 seconds left in the period the Whalers were able to get on the board. Scotty Shaw got the goal as James Kerrigan dug the puck out of the corner and passed it back to Kirt Johnson, he then fired a shot to the net, Scotty Shaw got the rebound and put past Tazzi to tie the game 1-1. Lallier finished the period with 11 saves and Tazzi registered 8.

The Third period saw more of the same, but with a different twist as Ramuntos took 5 penalties in the third period and a total of 7 for the night. In the third they played half of the period down a man and at one point down two. Tazzi rose to the occasion and Ramuntos was still able to get more scoring chances to force this game into a shootout. Lallier had 11 saves in the third for a total of 32 and Tazzi had 7 for a total of 21 on the night.

Rnd 3. Ramuntos-Max Major- dekes and beats Lallier low blocker side-GOAL

Ramuntos wins 2-1 in the shootout.
