WHALEN CUP FINAL: Tuck @ Gamblers

The top two teams in the UVHL this season are going to face-off in a winner takes all game. And by all, we mean the coveted, historic and cherished Whalen Cup.

Tuck and the Gamblers split their season series 2 games apiece with the Gamblers outscoring Tuck 14-13. Tuck shut out the Gamblers 4-0 back in January and the Gamblers had two big 6-3 Wins this season.

The goaltending edge goes to Mike "Wine & Dine" Devine and his stellar 2.94 GAA and 92% save percentage. Devine also turned away 521 shots in just 16 games. The Gambler's Ryan Van Schoik wasn't far behind with a 3.30 GAA, 89% Save% and 531 saves in 20 Games Played.

The Gamblers play a much tighter defensive game, giving them the advantage on the back end as well as in the offensive category. The Gamblers were the top offensive team as they scored a ridiculous 134 goals in 22 games...43 more than Tuck.

This should be an excellent game and while Vegas has the Odds at Even, the Gamblers should walk away with this one 4-3.
