The Whalers have taken two of three this season against Tuck and look to turn things around after being shocked by the last placed Dead River Oilers last week.

You're looking at the Ying and Yang of the UVHL with these two rosters. Tuck has had issues all season filling out their bench while the Whalers have actually lost a player because their 12 lines didn't allow enough icetime.

The Whalers offense has been good and will be the difference maker here. They are too deep and will roll over Tuck in the third as those Wicked Smart Kids start to tire because they were up too late last night studying for some sort of business class...probably Pornonomics 101.

In the end, the Whalers will prevail, 7-5

Whalers Put Up a Touchdown in Win Over Tuck

The Whalers flexed their offensive muscles with seven goals and a nice win against Tuck. They tallied early and often, carrying a comfortable 6-2 lead into the third period, only to pull their foot off the pedal and let Tuck back in the game, squeezing out a 7-5 win.

The Whalers were powered by Jay "Jay-Z" Zanleoni who netted three goals, all crucial goals in the first half of the game. Zanleoni's goals were his 17th, ,18th & 19th of the season(total including his games as an alternate), earning a First Star of the Game and a Player Of the Week(POW) nod.

Zanleoni's linemates Dillan "Fierce" Pierce(2 goals) & "Jumbo" Joe Gaudet(1g, 1a) both had nice nights and defensemen "Lucky" Chucky Gaede(2 assists) and Jonathan "The Wallsmith" Stallsmith(1 goal) contributed both offensively and defensively.

The Whaler's netminder, Kenny Lallier, was out of town at a Viagra convention in Ann Arbor, ME and the Nordique's Johnny "Temper Tantrum" Turner filled in stopping 21 of 26 shots for the win.

Down by 4 Goals Tuck turned up the heat in the third period with nothing to lose, outscoring the Whalers 3-1, but it was too little too late.
