Storm Kings flex their muscles against HOT Leafs 11-1 on 1/16!

Welcome everybody to another edition of the Adam Hogg show! In this episode you will see the UVHL superstar score more goals than anybody else had points (well, except for one), and will see him challenge for the UVHL scoring title.

Hogger scored three goals in the first period, unanswered, at 10:24, 7:48 and 6:12. These were the only goals of the period. Assists went out to Dean Cashman & Sean Coakley, Marty White, and Cashman and Artie Stout respectively. At 1:45 of the first Leaf F Dave Fitts went for hooking, but the Leafs killed off the potent Kingers PP attack.

In the second, Sean Coakley went to the Kings box for tripping at 7:28, and then soon after left the game with a hamstring pull. Ouch! Finally somebody else than Hogg scored, and it was linemate Cashman who Hogg set up after receiving a pass from defenseman Tom Scull at 4:51. The Leafs held off the Storm Kings for a considerable period of time, more than one full period, including a Kings PP at the end of the first, and they scored to make it 4-1 when Dave Bouthillier solved Frenchy at 2:20 from Leaf captain Sean Casavant. Hogger answered with an unassisted tally 30 seconds later to send his team to the third period up 5-1.

A Storm Kings six goal third period buried the Leafs, who had been red hot lately. At 11:20 Singe Arnold got his first of the game from Stout and Ron Dupuis. With Jason Loomis in the Leaf box at 10:58, Andy Weber scored a goal from the Kingers blueline on the PP at 10:38 from Stout, who collected his third point of the night. Mike Fitzgerald bulged the twine at 9:14, set up by Hogg, who else? Hogg netted his impressive fifth goal at 6:54 from Cashman and Arnold. Singe gave hope to all UVHL veterans with a 3-point multi-goal game, check that, 3-point PERIOD, when he scored again with 2:46 to go from Stout, who got his 4th assist from the blueline, and John Murphy. Stout added a goal for a 5-point night from Hogger, with his incredible 8th point, at 2:13 to end the scoring.
