Silver Squeeks past White 5-3.

Another hard fought battle between Silver and White tookl front stage on Monday night as the Silver team beat White 4-3. White took the lead early in the first off a shot from Forward Shawn Branco. Branco won the faceoff to the borders and retrieved a rebound that he put in the upper corner. Branco ended the game with 2 goals. Silvers Tao Smith tied the game up at one on a nice break away where he swooped in from the left across the net opening up goaltender Dan French's legs and sliding the puck five-hole. The game was tied late in the third period when Tao Smith one a faceoff deep in the White teams zone and Dave Willis threw a nice pick at the top of the slot so Kelly Park could walk in uncontested and fire a shot that would be French under the arm. White played a hard fought battle in front of new comer Goalie Dan French, but came up short again for their first win of the season. White faces off against blue next week at 8:15 and Silver will try to slow down the Red team at 9:30.
