Silver Rolled over the Blue Team 6-1, behind solid goaltending from Turner.

Blue and Silver had another gritty battle for on Monday night at the Union Arena in Woodstock. Silver was lucky enough to pick up All Star Jay Smith for the night from the White Team. Smith helped the surging Silver team to a 6-1 win with an amazing night (2g and 2assists). Tao Smith became the league leader in goals with 8 off of an impressive 2 goal night. Now only if they can teach him how to pass!!!!! John Turner was playing an outstanding game between the posts yet again as he shut down the Blue team for 36min and 59sec before John Murphy came flying down the left wing, cut to the center and let go a blistering slap shot that beat the Silver Backstop high and to the glove side with only 1.5 seconds left in the game......ruining his bid for his third shutout of the season. Other notables were Tom Dakai, Defensive Stalwart, tallied two assists on the night.
