In the second game of the night we had the Lumberjacks hosting the top seeded Labatt Blues. The Jacks come into tonight off a tough shoot out loss to Tuck last week. The Blues look to remain hot as they beat the Gamblers last week. The Blues came out ready to play and took it to the Jacks early. It was the Blues Tyler White that got the Blues on the board first at 13:25 mark. The Blues would dominate the period but they wouldn"t go up 2-0 until 2:04 left in the period when TJ Moran put one past the Jacks Chris Pelkey. The period would end with the Blues up 2-0 as they dominated the first period by outshooting the Jacks 20-6.

In the second period the Jacks came out a different team and started testing the Blues goalie Jay Seals. The Jacks Tim Patten would make the score 2-1 at 12:31 mark in the period. With momentum on their side the Jacks tied the game up less the two minutes later on a goal from Colby Leperle with 10:13 remaining. With the score tied and ten minutes remaining in the period the Blues picked up their play and they went up 3-2 on a goal from Mike Anderson with 7:02 to play in the period. The Blues would then go up 4-2 on a goal from sub Chad Quirion with 3:53 remaining in the period. The period would end with the Blues up 4-2 even though they were outshot 14-10.

In the third both teams picked up their play another notch but neither could get the puck past either goalie (Seals with 12 saves and Pelkey made 16 saves). The score would remain 4-2 until the Blues Mathew Littler finished the game off with his goal with 2:06 remaining. The Blues would win the game 5-2 as they continue to beat everyone in the league.
