In the second game of the night we have the Gamblers hosting the Jacks. Both teams come into this weeks game after blow out wins last week, the Gamblers put a beat down on the Nords 13-1 meanwhile the Jacks beat the Whalers 10-4. Both teams are very talented and this game will come down to who can stay out of the box. This game will be a close hard fought match but the edge is going to the Gamblers who will win this one 4-2.

In the second game of the night we have the Gamblers hosting the Jacks. Both teams come into this week"s game after blow out wins last week, the Gamblers put a beat down on the Nords 13-1 meanwhile the Jacks beat the Whalers 10-4. From the opening faceoff the Gamblers came out flying, out playing the Jacks in the first 7 minutes and peppering the Jacks goalie Chris Pelkey with shots from all angles. Although the Gamblers were taking the play to the Jacks it was the Jacks who scored first, the Jacks Will Olmstead got the scoring started at 6:24 mark when Gamblers got too greedy in the offensive end and the Jacks were able to create an odd man rush against the Gamblers defense. Shortly after the Jacks goal the Gamblers took a penalty, playing shorthanded for the next two minutes. The Gamblers Max Woods would tie the game up on a shorthanded breakaway goal with 3:35 left in the period. This goal would give the Gamblers momentum and once the killed the penalty off it wouldn"t take them long to take the lead as Zach Aher let a twisted wrister go from the top of the circle that Jacks goalie Chris Pelkey would like to have back as the puck bounced off his glove, over his head and into the back of the net. The period would end with the Gamblers leading the Jacks 2-1.

In the second period the play was even between the Gamblers and Jacks, it was about 10 minutes into the period that the Gamblers would go up 3-1 on an Ethan Gage snipe from just inside the face off dot at 5:21. The Jacks wouldn"t take long to answer back as Tim Patten made the scored 3-2 with 3:14 left in the period. The period would end with the score 3-2 as both teams were playing hard and clean.

In the third the score would remain 3-2 Gamblers until the 12:40 mark when Max Woods would score his second of the night to put the G-men up 4-2. The Gamblers would then go up 5-2 when Alex Dodds would pick up a loose clearing attempt in the Jacks end, he skated in and put it past Pelkey at 8:54 to put the Gamblers up 5-2. Just seven seconds later that Gamblers Max Woods would score his 3rd goal of the night as the Gamblers won the face off raced in set up Woods for the goal and putting the Gamblers up 6-2. With what looked like the Gamblers would cruise to an easy win, one of the Gamblers would take a penalty and then get another two minute penalty to give the Jacks a chance to get back in the game with four minute power play. The Gamblers were able to kill the first two minutes off and during the second two minutes the Jacks were able to get a PP goal from Tim Patten again with 5:12 left in the game. The Gamblers would add one more goal at 3:19 from Goose LaCroix as they cruised to a 7-3 win over the Jacks.
