Brewers out-scrap Bruins. HADLEY returns to the nets.

The last game of the night was an interesting one, Greg Hadley decided he wasn't helping his team out by skating up front. Decided to put Johnny Chamberlain on waivers and step back between the pipes himself. I'm not quite sure if this is a good move for the Bruins or not, but with Hadley between the pipes and being such a statistic WHORE, he might actually start caring about how his team plays again. There seemed to be a fire in Hadley's eyes again for the first time in over a year.

The first period started as a chess match with both teams trying to break through. The first 6 minutes had a nice flow to the game without much to report until 9:07 remaining when Mathew "Petunia" Perry took a shot from the point which hit a man in front and dropped right onto Jordan McGee's stick. McGee took a quick spin around shot to the far post past a downed Petey "The Peter Puller" Bartline. Mark "Chubby Hubby" Weglarz finished a beautiful pass from Mikey "The Heavy Handed Hick" Harrington out of the corner to put the Bruins up a cool 2 to nothing. The Bruins did a great job of keeping the Brewers big guns, Nick Bayley, Christian Isaac & Mike Hickey off of the board in the first period, and downright frustrating the entire Brew Crew.

END OF THE FIRST: Brewers ZERO, Bruins 2
SHOTS: Brewers 7, Bruins 9

The second period matched the first in intensity and flow as the Bruins & Brewers exchanged possession of the puck for the first 5 and a half minutes without much ado. The highlight of the first 5 minutes was a roughing penalty from Brewers resident thug, Brent "Goontown" Adams. The Brewers finally broke through on Greg "I'm down on my knees before you even wind up to shoot" Hadley, when Chris "Ansel" Adams chipped in a rebound from a Kevn "Chip 'n Dales" Calder shot from the point. The remainder of the period was the same as the beginning except with 2 penalties for hooking, one to Brian "Beer King" Walsh and the other to the Bruins Perry.

END OF THE SECOND: Brewers 1, Bruins 2
SHOTS: Brewers: 14, Bruins 15

The Third period period started off with one of the nastiest goals of the year from the Brewers Christian "THE ONE MAN SHOW" Isaac. Isaac picked the puck up behind the goal line in his own end, beat 3 bruins defenders coming out of his own zone, proceeded through the neutral zone and then split the defense before making Hadley look like a squirt goalie with a nice wrist shot. Nick "The Stick" Bayley put the Brewrs up for good with just under 7 minutes to play off of a Dan Charette & and MIke "The Trike" HIckey passes. Chris Adams put the nail in the coffin with 1:41 to play as he was streaking down the far boards, put a sweet outside-inside move on Mikey Harrington and then beat the giant bag of shit Greg Hadley witn a shot off of his glove and in. Things started to get a bit physical after that huge goal and the Bruins started to look at how their season has fallen apart. Mikey "Captain Hook" went to the box with 32 seconds left after a MAJOR LEAGUE hook on Isaac which sent the Brewers bench into an uproar....which really isn't very surprising, because the Brewers bench will go into an uproar over a close off sides call that didn't go their way, the Brewers bench will go into an uproar if someone breathes heaviiy on them. The Brewers bench will go into an uproar if the ice isn't freezing fast enough. I mean come on, it's good to be competitive and care about the outcome of a game, but he took a penalty and went to the box. Speaking of an uproar, with 11 seconds remaining, Mikey Harrington took some physical liberties with a couple of the Brewers, which sent shockwaves of anger and putrid hate through the Brewers Captain, Mike Hickey. Hickey then decided to throw an ass whoopin' on Harrington to prove a point. Hickey then jumped Harrington from behind and from my angle looked like it went Hickey's way. I could be wrong, but the distinct size advantage did not help out Harrington. On another note, the Bruins Mark Weglarz decided to jump over the boards like a tough guy and rush into the skirmish like he was actually doing to something. To tell you the truth, if I had anyone on that ice surface to fight with, the first guy would be Weglarz, that's an EASY win for me!!!!
