Hmmm, Dead River has fared pretty well against the Gamblers this season, losing three close games by a combined score of 30-1. Yeah, that was sarcasm. Dead River has been shutout twice and let up 14 goals in one game against the G-Men this season...odds are this one won't be pretty.

The only reason that the Gamblers aren't favored by 13 goals is due to the fact that their captain / leading goal and point scorer has been out sick Monday & Tuesday this week from work and is doubtful for this evening. Meyer and his 46 goals in 19 games this season will sorely be missed and will have a drastic outcome on this game if he does not show up.

Irregardless, the Gamblers are too deep and should pull this one out...7-2 without Meyer and 9-1 with Meyer.

Gamblers Roll Dead River for 20th Straight Win, 9-2

Yet again the Gamblers have won, and yet again it was by a large margin. Tonight's unlucky foe was a typical David vs. Goliath matchup as the #1 Gamblers(19-0-0) took on last place Dead River(4-15-0).

Dead River has fallen victim to the Gamblers in all 4 games they will face this season by a combined score of 39-3, but tonight was their best offensive push against the G-Men with a pair of goals.

The Gamblers had a nice night from Topo "Little Ball of Hate" LaCroix who had a hatty and pair of assists. LaCroix had to step up big since his team mate and league leading scorer Willy "Mighty Mouse" Meyer called in sick. LaCroix's goals were his 25th, 26th & 27th of the season. Helping LaCroix produce was linemate Martin "Tomahawk" Tomanik (2g, 2a), defenseman Ryan "Bergy" Bergeron(1g, 3a) and Marc "The Narc" Gattie(2g, 1a).

The Gambler's only allowed 11 shots on net in this one, and their keeper Jeremy "The Seid" Seidling stopped 9 of them for the win.

It was another rough night for Dead River and another good one for the Gamblers.
