Tonight we have the Jacks (1-3-1) hosting the undefeated Whalers (5-0). The Whalers won the first matchup between these two teams this year but prior to that the Jacks were 19-0 all time vs the Whalers since 2014. This will be a close game between these two teams but it will come down to goaltending and the Whalers being the hardest working team in the league. The Whalers Tucker "hot stuff" Garrity-Hanchett is in second place with a GAA of 1.60 meanwhile Libby leads the league with GAA but he has only played in one game all year for the Jacks. The edge goes to the Whale as they win this game by the score of 3-2 to stay undefeated.

The game started out with the Whalers coming out of the gate running as Dan Fenton would put the Whalers up 1-0 7 seconds into the game. Things would settle down, the Jacks would get to PP chances and the Whalers would get one halfway through the first but the score would remain 1-0 after one period of play.

In the second the Jack would get a power play chance at 10:34 mark, it would take the Jacks 5 seconds to score on the pp on a goal from Jake Robinson to tie the game at 1-1. The Jacks would keep the testing the Whalers tender (Tucker) and they would go up 2-1 at 4:09 on a goal from Alex Boccolucci. The Whalers would answer back at 2:58 on a goal from Matt Fracassi to tie the game at 2-2. Then with 5 on 3 power play chance the Whalers would go up 3-2 on a goal from Chuck Gaede with six seconds left in the period.

With the Whalers up 3-2 and although the Jacks had a power play chance, it was the Whalers Dan Fenton scoring a short handed goal to put his team up 4-2 with 8:12 remaining. The Whalers couldn't stay out of the box and this time the Jacks would cash in as Evan Seely would make the score 4-3 Whalers with 3:26 remaining. The Jacks would get a few more chances but the Whalers would hold on to win the game and improve to 6-0.
