In the first game of the night we had the Whalers hosting the Gamblers. The Gamblers were able to jump out a 1-0 lead on a goal by Topo LaCroix at 12:50 mark. The Gamblers would extend their lead to 2-0 on a goal from Matt Marrazzo with 9:57 remaining in the period. Both teams would get some more chances but the period would end with the Gamblers leading 2-0.

In the second the things continued to be even as both teams would get some great chances and each team would have a power play chance a piece, but neither team could cash in on their chance. Late in the period the Gamblers would extend their lead to 3-0 on a goal from Topo LaCroix (second of the night) with 37 seconds left in the period.

In the third with the Gamblers up 3-0, the Whalers wouldn't give up as they were knocking on the door all night. The Whalers Dan Fenton would finally get the Whale on the board with his goal at 13:54 making the score 3-1 Gamblers. The Gamblers would answer back about 3 and half minutes later on a goal from Ryan LaCroix at 11:29 giving the Gamblers a 4-1 lead. The Gamblers weren't done their as Max Woods would put the Gamblers up 5-1 with 8:20 remaining. Although the Gamblers were up 5-1 the Whalers never gave up and kept pushing back, the Whalers Dillon Pierce would get the Whalers one goal closer (2:29) but that is as close as it would get as the Gamblers would win the game by the score of 5-2.
